The events included Regulation Drill with Arms, Regulation Drill without Arms, Varsity Color Guard, and various Exhibition Drills as well. The Central High School Varsity W/Arms Team Commanded by Cadet Sergeant First Class Matthews took 2nd Place (which is the highest we have ever achieved at State in that drill category) and the Central High School Varsity with Arms Exhibition Team Commanded by Cadet First Sergeant Brletich took 6th place. And, The Central High School Varsity 38th Royal Color Guard Team Commanded Cadet Captain Tolbert took 6th place.
Special recognition also goes out to Cadet Private Dorian, Choudhary and Cadet Staff Sergeant Anthony, Lingo for their efforts throughout the school-year as well who were not able to compete for the State Drill Finals due to being quarantined for COVID-19. Also, we would like to say special thanks to Deb, Hysell and Tish, Elliott for their assistance in the filming and “unbiased” observation of all Drill performances.
Please, congratulate all of the Cadets/Students listed below that participated in the competition. They have been working extremely hard all year even with all obstacles of COVID-19, to prepare for this competition and deserve “High Recognition and Praise” for their accomplishments!
