Capstone project presentations are a celebration to culminate a learning experience occurring over a duration of time. The learning demonstrated through the presentation process is a carefully selected, diverse sample of the actual project. This is due to the inherent time constraint present when trying to communicate several months or years’ worth of work in the limited time frame of a public presentation. Adding depth, assessment requirements, and relevant artifacts are provided to panel participants prior to presentation(s) with the intention of creating a foundation for understanding during the public presentation. Well done Capstone projects serve to demonstrate growth in and clearly communicate student(s) grittiness, creativeness, responses to failure, and ownership of learning.
