World Languages teachers pose

Overview:

World language study is to provide students with opportunities to acquire communication skills beyond the limits of their native language and culture as well as to provide reinforcement of native languages, literature and cultures. Currently, Central offers levels 1, 2, 3, and Advanced Placement Spanish. Most students begin as a freshman in Spanish 1, but all students are welcome to start Spanish 1 at any grade level. Spanish classes count as an elective credit. Native Spanish speakers (your household mostly just speaks Spanish) typically start at Spanish 2 or 3, depending on their grade and comfort level with reading and writing the language. Older, more advanced students can possibly begin with AP!  You can always email one of the teachers, or your counselor to ask which level would be right for you. Hope to see you in class!
