Performing Arts Calendar

The Central High School Music Department is inclusive of all students who have the desire to make. We are proud of our students and the work they do here at C.H.S. Our school is on a four-period block using a split block on the first and third blocks. The school has been on this schedule for the last eighteen years and has adapted the schedule to meet the needs of our students and staff.

The Music Department is comprised of:

Mission Statement of the Music Department
The Music Department at Central High School provides the opportunity to perform in numerous ensembles at varying levels that challenge each student. Diverse types and styles of music are studied and performed to assist in the students' understanding of music. Through the study of music theory, the students' musicianship is continually challenged and refined to gain an enjoyment of music and become a life long musician and appreciator of music.
