Business
Overview
The business department at Central provides career and technical education designed to help students prepare for a successful career. There is a wide variety of courses which include, personal finance, Business communication, business law, Introduction to business, Business work experience internship, Business management, Accounting 1 & II, Web design, Event sports marketing, Graphic design, Adobe In-Design, AP computer principles & AP computer science. Any combination of four business course allow a student to be a CTE completer. Multiple certifications in CTE are also available for students such as quick backs and google cents.

 Mr. McCarty graduated from Delta High School. Attended the University of Northern Colorado where he earned a BS in Mathematics Emphasis Secondary Education. He later earned my M. Ed. in Technology in Education. He has taught at Central for over 20 years. He taught math and now teach computer science and graphic design. He coaches Girls' Basketball and sponsor Girls Who Code. |

Taylor Reed
 Graduated college from the University of Illinois, Springfield with a degree in Business Administration. Acquired teaching certificate from the University of Colorado, Denver. Some fun facts about her, "I spent most of my life in Central Illinois and moved to Grand Junction in 2018. I started working at CHS in the fall of 2019. In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my husband and son, riding bikes on the River Trail, and exploring the trails around the valley. I love to crochet and sponsor the Crochet Club here at Central." Mrs. Paniagua sponsors Central's FBLA Program. |
