KPP
The Key Performance Program is a self-paced program that can take a year or longer to complete. Students will complete a series of computer-based lessons along with
independent projects designed to cover high school courses. Student progress is constantly monitored and assistance is given when needed.
The Core curriculum to prepare for the WorkKeys Assessments. Note: The Key Performance Program is not a credit-seeking program, and is not recommended for students who might return to the traditional 25 credit pathway or NCAA students.
STUDENTS SERVED
Students must be seventeen years old. Juniors must have 12 credits or less and seniors must have 15 credits or less.
ENROLLMENT PROCESS
Students are typically referred by counselors and progress monitors, but teachers and administrators can also refer; transcripts show students’ need for assistance in earning sufficient credits to graduate on time with their peers. Students must also be willing to go to the Work Force Center for testing.
GOAL
To provide students who have had obstacles in their education, throughout high school, with the opportunity to prove that they are ready for the workforce or college through an alternate means so that they earn a high school diploma.
